Why Romana's Pilates? Not all Pilates is equal.

Romana Krazynowska is Joseph H. Pilates protege. She worked with Joseph for over
30 years and has been teaching the method for nearly 60.
In their training, each Instructor is guided, trained and tested directly by Romana and
Sari Mejia Santo (Romana's daughter) who has worked side by side with her mother for

training and observation before you become certified.
We, as instructors must have it in our bodies to know how to teach it better.

Why Private Sessions?

By doing private Sessions the approach is highly individualized, therefor we can create a
personalized exercise program for people of all ages and levels of fitness. Pilates will
help you get connected to your body faster and deeper and eventually will get you ready
for class settings where you will know how to take care of your body.
We can also accommodate pre-existing injuries by reviewing your medical history and
assess your posture and areas of strength and weakness.
The workout is done as Joseph Pilates created them: "You must do it slowly and
smoothly. Then your whole body is in it". "Everything should be smooth, like a cat. The
exercises are done lying, sitting, kneeling etc., to avoid excessive strain on the heart and
lungs."
